Role:Subject Matter Expert
As a Subject Matter Expert, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing high quality question papers tailored to school curriculums. You will ensure the accuracy, relevance, and alignment of assessment materials with educational standards. Your expertise will contribute directly to the enhancement of AI-based assessment models, improving automation and grading accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, design, and curate high-quality question papers aligned with educational standards and curriculum guidelines.
- Ensure variety in question types (MCQs, short answers, long-form descriptive, case studies, etc.) to assess different levels of student understanding.
- Collaborate with AI and product teams to refine automated grading systems for accuracy and efficiency.
- Review and validate AI-generated assessments to ensure correctness and maintain academic integrity.
- Research and stay updated with curriculum changes and best practices in education.
- Provide feedback and recommendations to improve Smartail’s AI-powered assessment models.
- Assist in content validation, quality checks, and training AI models for handwriting recognition.
- Work closely with internal teams to resolve subject-related queries and provide expert guidance.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s/master’s degree in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, English, Social Sciences, Commerce, Accounts or related fields.
- Experience: Proven experience in developing question papers and assessment materials for academic institutions.
- Subject Expertise: Strong command over respective subjects, ensuring high quality content creation.
- Technical Proficiency: Basic to intermediate knowledge of computer applications for content creation and review.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy, consistency, and clarity in assessments.
- Time Management: Ability to work efficiently under deadlines and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Teamwork: Collaborative mindset to work with cross-functional teams including AI developers, content creators, and educators.
